A TRIO of thieves have been put behind bars after stealing a BMW from a family.
Mickey Smith, Thomas Small and Paddy Cronin each received a three-year sentence at Reading Crown Court on Monday (February 19).
The gang used a Volkswagen Golf to commit to burglaries on March 7 last year in Maidenhead and Woodley.
They stole jewellery, cash, a safe and a BMW from family homes.
Investigating officer DC Barry Johns, of Loddon Valley CID, said: “We are committed to tirelessly pursuing offenders.
Cronin, Small and Smith were sentenced at Reading Crown Court
“Convicting these burglars will help to protect our residents from the distress and loss that these offences cause.
“I would like to thank everyone involved in the case, including the victims and witnesses who have supported this successful prosecution.”
Smith, 33, of Sutton Lane, Slough, Small, 27, of Paices Hill, Aldermaston, and Cronin, 23, of Hook, Hampshire, all admitted to one count of conspiracy to commit burglary.
