A DRIVER has been left with a facial injury after a multiple car crash this morning.
On the M4 this morning, five cars collided between junctions 13 and 14 eastbound.
A South Central Ambulance Service spokesperson stated: "We were called at 07.08 this morning with the caller reporting a three vehicle accident eastbound between junctions 14 and 13.
"We sent one ambulance crew to the scene who reported that one of the drivers sustained a mouth injury from hitting the steering wheel during the accident but otherwise everyone else involved is uninjured.
"That driver was treated at the scene and then taken to the Great Western Hospital, Swindon."
Traffic was backed up as far as Swindon after the incident.
Lanes were reopened shortly before 9am.
