JOURNEY times are changing on Reading Buses.

The main changes are to their jet black, leopard and lion services.

Some jet black re-timings are for improved performance and provide a combined 15 minute service between Newbury and Thatcham with Kennections 101/102.

Similarly, some leopard journeys have been re-timed to improve performance.

Due to limited usage, the leopard will no longer visit Shinfield Park. The nearest bus stop is Ducketts Farm on Shinfield Road.

The X3 direct service to and from Shinfield Park will still run to its normal times.

The lion has some changes to improve performance on certain journeys.

Emerald 6a will see some re-timing of morning journeys and other minor tweaks throughout.

Tweaks are being made to mainly morning weekday journeys on purple 17 which will also have a couple of extra am peak journeys.

Most daytime Community Link trips will run a couple of minutes later. The existing 5.12 pm trip from Friar Street to Tesco Napier Road and return will no longer run.

Customers should be aware of minor changes and tweaks to times on pink 25 too.

The Monday to Friday greenwave bus leaving St. Marys Butts at 3.59 pm and Station Road at 4.02 pm will run as route 53 and no longer serve Kennet Island.

Reading Buses say this is to avoid the effects of traffic congestion which have led to serious delays to this bus.

Alternative route 50a buses to Kennet Island depart Station Road at 3.52 pm and 4.12 pm.
