JUNIOR doctors were given the chance to relax after a long shift, thanks to a generous donation.
IKEA donated comfortable beds for new rooms at Royal Berkshire Hospital, so staff can have a deserved rest when working long hours.
Staff from the Reading-based store built all 11 rooms within just two days.
June Leatham from the Royal Berks Charity, said: “With the arrival of IKEA Reading, we saw the transformation of the rooms completed.
“This was a very special project and it’s super to see how this will support our junior doctors during their on-call shifts.”
