TWO men escaped virtually uninjured from a helicopter crash.
The aircraft crashed near Caversham this evening.
The accident happened on the bank of the River Thames, close to The Warren, Mapledurham at around 5.50pm.
Two men were treated at the scene for injuries.
A spokesman for Wokingham Road fire station said emergency services were on scene. He added that Caversham fire station were in attendance.
An ambulance spokesman said the incident was called in at 5.51pm.
A rapid response vehicle and an ambulance were sent.
Two men who were in the aircraft were treated at the scene.
Their injuries do not need hospital treatment.
The spokesman said: 'We got the call at 5.51pm that a helicopter had come down.
"We sent two rapid response vehicles, two ambulance officers and an ambulance crew.
"There were two adult males, who sustained minor injuries and did not require hospital treatment."
