A SUSPECTED pervert who spied on a 13-year-old boy while he was in the toilet at a bespoke town-centre store was being hunted by police today.

The teenage schoolboy was using the facilities inside House of Fraser at The Oracle shopping centre when he suspected he was being watched.

He was then left stunned when he realised a balding stranger was peeping through a hole in the wall to the neighbouring cubicle.

The youngster fled the scene but managed to get a description of the voyeur, which he reported to the police.

A spokesman for Thames Valley Police said: "The suspected incident of voyeurism happened at about 5.30pm on Thursday January 19 this year.

"The victim, a 13-year-old boy, was in a cubicle in the men's toilet in House of Fraser in The Oracle shopping centre.

"He suspected someone might be watching him through a hole in the wall to the neighbouring cubicle.

"The victim then saw a man looking through the hole."

The man was described as white, around thirty years old and of average build. He is balding but has curly hair on the sides of his head.

Investigating officers have claimed there could be an "innocent explanation" to the incident and have urged the man in question to contact the force.

Police Constable Lucie Singh added: "We would like to speak to the man so if you know who he is please contact police as soon as possible. The easiest way to do this is by calling 101 or visiting your nearest police station.

"There might be an innocent explanation for what happened so it is vital that we speak to the man to establish what happened."
