A SCHOOLGIRL was tripped over on a bus in broad daylight and sexually attacked by a pervert, police revealed tonight.
The 14-year-old got on the number 2 bus, which runs between Prospect Park and Lima Court, when she was suddenly sent sprawling to the ground.
A man then pounced on the frightened teenager and began to touch her inappropriately.
She was left shocked and shaken by the horrific attack, which happened shortly after 3.30pm.
Thames Valley Police have tonight released CCTV images showing a man they wish to speak to as part of their investigation.
A spokesman for Thames Valley Police said: "Officers would like to speak to the man in the CCTV as they believe he has important information that could help with the investigation."
"At around 3.35pm on Monday December 19 the victim, a girl aged under 14, got on a number 2 bus on the ‘Lime’ route between Prospect Park and Lima Court.
"As she got on she was deliberately tripped up by a man who then sexually assaulted her over her clothes."
Officers urged anyone who recognises the man in the picture, or anyone who witnessed the shocking attack, to contact the force immediately.
Police Constable Stephen Aylett added: “The victim is young and is seriously distressed by the offence. I would like to hear from anyone who saw this incident on the bus on Monday."
