A SERIES of graffiti artwork in Woodley has sparked major debate online.
Readers of the Chronicle submitted a variety of compliments and complaints when they spotted the illustrations under Loddon Bridge Road, Woodley.
Rumours suggest a mystery artist has been coming back to the same spot for many years to brighten up the stretch of road under the A329M flyover.
One Facebook user, Mandy Butler, said: "I wish the council would leave them up they are great."
Another, Melly Dawkinds, added: "I actually like seeing it as it cheers up a normally gloomy area. This is a form of art in my honest opinion."
However, others were not so happy with the artwork and said it was nothing more than vandalism.
Alice Louise said: "The person who did these will never come forward as it is technically a form of vandalism and they may not want to get in trouble."
