THE TOWN'S first ever Children's Book Festival will take place later this year.
Wokingham Library and Wokingham Town Hall will play host to the festival on October 20-21.
Children will have the chance to meet 23 authors and illustrators who will bring stories to life through fun, interactive workshops.
This is a first for the town, and will allow children aged between 3-12 to take part in interactive workshops and listen to readings.
There will be a book signing after every workshop, and WH Smith has announced that it is the official bookseller with stalls at each venue.
