AN ELDERLY woman had her purse stolen while she was standing by a fruit stand in a busy area.
Thames Valley Police have released CCTV images following the theft on June 24 in Woodley Precinct.
The victim, an 87-year-old woman, was standing off Crockhamwell Road between 11.30am and 12.30pm when the incident occurred.
Cash and a debit card were inside the purse and the card was used to steal an unknown amount of cash from her bank account.
Officers investigating the incident would like to trace the man and the woman shown in the images, as they may have information which could assist the investigation.
