A BURST water pipe left hundreds of customers with no water or low pressure.
Repairs have already been carried out by Thames Water specialist on the affected by on Church Road.
Normal water supplies are thought to have returned to all but 50 homes, who were affected by the burst pipe in the Woodley area in the early hours on Tuesday.
A Thames Water Spokesman said: “We are sorry to anyone who has experienced no water or low pressure after a burst on one of our pipes in Woodley.
We're sorry to customers in #RG4, #RG5 and #RG6 who are experiencing no water/low pressure. This is due to a burst pipe in the area. (1/2)

"A repairs team is currently on site and we have re-routed water around the network to get supplies flowing again.
"We are working hard to fix the pipe and will complete the repairs as soon as possible.”
The company received dozens of calls from residents after a burst on a 12-inch pipe.
The spokesman added: "We hope to get the remaining properties back in supply as soon as possible, but will provide bottled water to them if needed."
