FUNDRAISING paddlers took the River Thames to support vulnerable communities living without clean drinking water.
The 21st annual Thames Water Raft Race was held on July 26 and dozens of competitors raised £25,000 for WaterAid.
The race started from Reading Rowing Club, before teams paddled up to Caversham Bridge and back.
Emily Goren, energy and implementation lead, said: “The Raft Race is always one of the most popular fundraising events the company holds.
"It was great to see so many people taking part and raising so much money for such a worthwhile cause.
“We know this money will go to people and villages in Malawi to help build and provide everyday essentials such as a clean water supply and sanitation that we all take for granted every day.”
