PADDLERS are being urged to sign up for a popular annual rowing challenge in a bid to raise vital funds.
The return of Reading Dragon Boat Festival on August 19 will see dozens of teams take to the water for charity.
Wokingham Waterside Centre is set to host this year's event, with prizes on offer for the winning teams.
The third year of the race will see teams tackle the 200m course on the Thames, with free entry and parking available to thousands of spectators.
Charities and businesses return every year for a chance to be crowned the overall winner, with the option of organising races against colleagues and rival companies.
Team entries are still available for as little as £25 per person and Reading Lions are offering individual places on the day.
