CHARGED: Man charged with attempted rape and sexual assault
A TILEHURST man has been charged with attempted rape and sexual assault.
Roman Ungurean, 20, of Links Drive, appeared at Reading Magistrates Court on Friday July 13, and has been remanded in custody until he appears at Reading Crown Court on August 13.
He was arrested and charged with one count of attempted rape of a female over 16 and two counts of sexual assault on a female over the age of 16.
The arrest is in connection with an offence which occurred in Union Street, Reading, on Thursday July 5.
He was arrested on Thursday July 12 and charged on the same day.
