SIX people were arrested during England's clash with Croatia on Wednesday night.

Thames valley Police made the arrests in Reading town centre during the game, which kicked off at 7pm and resulted in the national side crashing out of the FIFA World Cup after losing 2-1.

Two men were arrested under Section 5 of the Public Order Act 1985, and received a fixed penalty notice. A third man was arrested for causing criminal damage and received a fixed penalty notice.

An investigation into a fourth man arrested on suspicion of being drunk and disorderly is ongoing.

Two men were arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply a Class A drug and remain in police custody.
