A FAMILY who suffered the heartbreak of having their dog snatched from their home has had her safely returned.

Becka Spratt, and her mother Cathy, had their nine-year-old labrador, Blyth, stolen from their garden on Monday June 11.

Following a mass appeal, and a £500 reward for her safe return, Blyth returned home at 10am on Thursday June 14.

Becky said: "Blyth is safe, she was not overly hungry so whoever had her was feeding her at least.

"Honestly we are ready to put it behind us and focus on giving her all the love she deserves."
