POSTCARDS designed by two Reading artists will be used in an international project to mark the town's twinning with Düsseldorf.
The Reading Düsseldorf Association is printing a set of only 100 A6 postcards to help celebrate the German city's link with Reading, Haifa, and Chemnitz.
Martin Andrews and Thérèse Lawlor are two of the four selected winners and the postcards will be on sale over the next month at Central Library.
Anthony Wilder, chairman of the Reading Guild of Artists, said: “We are tremendously proud to be involved in this project and love working in partnership with other groups in the town to promote Reading’s heritage and culture.
"I am delighted that two of our artists’ designs were chosen. The RGA will have more small artworks, paintings and cards on show at Reading Museum during Waterfest on June 16."
