OLYMPIC swimming sensation Rebecca Adlington is set to launch a brand new learn-to-swim programme for children in Reading next week.
The four-time medallist is launching Becky Adlington's Swimstars on May 29, and to celebrate the Holiday Inn, in Basingstoke Road, will be holding free swimming classes for children.
The free intro sessions are for ages three to 11 and give children and parents in the area the unique chance to experience the SwimStars programme, which uses Adlington’s experience and expertise to deliver the best learn-to-swim experience possible.
SwimStars officially moves into Holiday Inn June 11, with the Reading venue being the first hotel to host the programme in the UK.
Adlington said: "I'm thrilled to be expanding our programme even further. Our goal has always been to give all children the opportunity to learn to swim 'the Becky way', and this new venue will give so many more budding swimmers the chance to experience our programme and hopefully find their love of swimming.”
