A PEDESTRIAN has been rushed to hospital with life-threatening injuries after being knocked down on Friday.
Police were called to the junction of Ufton Lane and Lambdens Hill in Sulhamstead at around 9.15am following a collision involving a black Nissan Juke and a man on the A4.
The pedestrian was taken to Southampton General Hospital with life-threatening injuries.
His next of kin have been informed and police would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the crash.
The male driver of the car was uninjured.
Sergeant Chris Ruff, from the Joint Roads Policing Unit, said: "We are appealing for any witnesses who may have seen the collision, or either the man or the Nissan prior to the incident."
