Woodley park 'sealed off by police' following incident
A POPULAR park has been 'sealed off by police' after a man was found with knife wounds.
Police descended on Vauxhall Park, Woodley, shortly after 3pm.
Officers were called after a man was found with stab wounds.
An investigation is underway and officers believe the man could have been attacked by a gang of thugs.
The area has been sealed off by police and anyone with information should contact the force on 101.
A police spokesman said: "It is an alleged GBH after a man sustained knife wounds in the vicinity of Vauxhall Park this afternoon.
"It is believed a group of offenders assaulted the victim with a knife."
The man's current condition is not yet known.
