A drug dealer was sentenced after more than 5kg of Cannabis was found at a home in Thatcham.
Police found 5.5kgs of cannabis with an estimated street value of £34,000 at a Crowfield Drive address in November 2016 after complaints of a strong smell was reported.
David Lovelock of Crowfield Drive Thatcham was sentenced to 12 months in prison, suspended for 12 months after admitting to being concerned in the supply of class B cannabis on April 6.
The 27-year-old was forced to hand over the drugs, drug paraphernalia and £900.
At a seperate hearing at Reading Magistrates Court in November 2017, Kenneth Freemantle also of Crowfield Drive, admitted one charge of possession of class B cannabis.
The 56-year-old recieved a conditional discharge for 12 months.
The men were charged on October 24, 2017.
Investigating officer Detective Constable Andy Philpott of the West Berkshire Investigation Hub, said: "Drug dealing will not be tolerated in West Berkshire, and this case shows that we will always investigate and bring offenders such as Lovelock and Freemantle before the courts."
