AIR ambulance paramedics have become stars on the small screen after saving a child in a new TV series.
Members of Thames Valley Air Ambulance will feature in the Channel 4 primetime series 'Emergency Helicopter Medics' on Sunday.
The ten-part documentary shows the emergency services charity travelling across Berkshire in the iconic red helicopter.
Amanda McLean, CEO at Thames Valley Air Ambulance, said: βIt was a privilege to be featured as part of this series.
"It shows how, together with our fellow emergency services, we make a difference when minutes matter. Furthermore, as a charity, it provides our supporters with true examples of how their generous donations help us save lives.β
Viewers can expect an exciting episode on Sunday, as paramedics come to the aid of a nine-year-old after he was hit by a car and suffers a serious head injury.
