INSPIRING young musicians were thrown under the spotlight as part of an annual competition to find the stars of the future.
The Rotary Young Musician contest at St Joseph's College saw nine youngsters battle it out with their voice or instrument of choice.
Three musical experts, including David Wilson BEM, judged the performances before revealing the winners and runners-up in each category.
Aidan Campbell came top in the instrumental section, while Emmer Green vocalist Isobel Hodgson also impressed the judging panel.
All of the winners and runners-up will now go on to take part in the Thames Valley Rotary district competition on March 18, with a view to competing at the national finals in Edinburgh in May.
