SKY Sports star Simon Thomas hailed a Sonning school for a fitting tribute to his late wife.
The popular sports presenter, from Reading, thanked Sonning Primary School after it held a fundraising night in his late wife’s memory.
Gemma died of leukaemia just days after being diagnosed last year.
Mr Thomas, who once starred on popular children’s show Blue Peter, wrote: “So touched by the love and generosity of so many at Ethan’s school @SonningPrimary tonight.
“A night of fun, food and fundraising in memory of my lovely Gemma. Thank you so so much. #lightinthedarkness.”
