A SCHOOLBOY who accidentally barged into a man was kicked by an abusive bus passenger.

The shocking incident occurred when the 12-year-old victim was running to catch a bus at St Mary's Butts on November 23 last year at around 8.30am.

He apologised after bumping into a man, who boarded the same bus as him.

However, the offender became aggressive, and kicked him, causing the young boy to fall to the ground.

Investigating officer Nicole Lagoy, based at Reading Police Station, said: "I would like to speak to the man in these images, as I believe he could have vital information about this incident.

"If you know this man, please call the Thames Valley Police non-emergency number on 101."

"Anyone who witnessed the assault or has any other information about the incident is urged to contact police as soon as possible.
