You will want to wrap up warm if you're heading to the sales today - another weather warning has been issued.

The Met Office says temperatures could dip to as low as minus two degrees tonight.

Today we will get a maximum temperature of three degrees.

The warning reads: 'Showers of rain, sleet and snow are expected, with snow most likely inland away from immediate coastal areas and over hills. The extent of ice will vary across the area with inland areas most prone whilst coastal areas exposed to the northerly winds are less likely to be affected.'

Police have warned drivers to go easy on the roads after a series of ice-related crashes in the last few days.

The good news is that things will improve as we head towards to new year, with temperatures up to 13 degrees on Saturday.
