A WEATHER warning has been issued for this weekend.
'Storm Brian' is expected to bring winds of up to 70mph when it hits on Saturday.
The Met Office has issued a yellow 'be aware' warning for the South East.
The warning is in place from 4am on Saturday until midnight on Sunday.
A Met Office spokesman said: "A spell of strong southwesterly winds is expected. Some coastal routes and communities are likely to be affected by large waves, with potential for flooding of properties.
"Some transport disruption is likely across the warning area, with delays to road, rail, air and ferry transport. Short term loss of power and other services is also possible."
