EMERGENCY services rushed to a house fire this afternoon fearing people were trapped inside.
At 12.10pm the ambulance, fire and police service were called to Eldon Road.
When they arrived they found four people out of the building, one a man with burns to his arms.
Fire fighters entered the building and confirmed that there were no further people inside, as initially feared.
A spokesperson for South Central Ambulance Service said: "We sent three ambulances, the air ambulance rapid response car, two rapid response vehicles and a silver officer to the scene.
"The patient with burns to his arms was taken to Chelsea & Westminster Hospital after initial treatment (specialist burns unit) with the remaining patients assessed and discharged at the scene.
"The fire service entered the building and confirmed there were no other people in the property."
