THOUSANDS of guests and dozens of charity rowers will head down to Thames Valley Park on Sunday for the annual Dragon Boat Race.
The second edition of the fundraising event is expected to feature several teams, made up of local businesses, with the shared aim of raising money for charity.
Councillor Peter Lucy, mayor of Wokingham, will open the event at 9.30am, with Reading Mayor Councillor Rose Williams also joining in with the celebrations.
Entry for visitors and supporters is free and Reading FC legend Ady Williams will be on hand to present the event and races.
Alok Sharma, Reading West MP, will present the race winners with trophies.
