ART lovers and community groups came together for the annual 'WhitFest' celebration on Saturday.
Pupils from John Madejski Academy hosted the community arts event, with a range of creative activities for children to enjoy.
Live music and dance performances were given from schools in Whitley and a number local charities had the chance to fundraise at the event.
WhitFest is developed by charity Aspire2, which encourages young children to get involved with recreation and the arts.
BTEC performing Arts students from the academy gave a special performance to keep the crowds entertained after weeks of planning their routines.
Younger children enjoyed music, face painting and storytelling sessions, while a series of drop-in sessions were held by organisers 'Creative Junction'.
Residents of 'The White Wood' also crafted a variety of poems on the meaning behind Whitley's name, as mentioned in the Domesday Book.
