A WOMAN was rushed to hospital on Monday after being struck by a bus on a pedestrian crossing.
Emergency services were called to Whitley Street on June 19 shortly before midday after the pedestrian was hit by a red single-decker bus.
The 48-year-old suffered non-life threatening injuries to her head and wrist and remains in Royal Berkshire Hospital.
Police are appealing for information from anyone who may have witnessed the collision.
It is believed the bus was travelling south on the A327.
PC Justin Aylin-Wright, investigating officer from Roads Policing, said: "I would ask anyone who witnessed this or who may have seen the bus shortly before the collision, to contact us with any information to help with our enquiries."
