A CYCLIST was left with in an injured bum after being slapped by a passing motorist.
The 35-year-old was riding on the Reading Road when a passenger in a White Vauxhall Corsa attacked him.
The victim was near Burghfield Common heading towards Tadley on Monday, June 19.
The three-door Corsa approached him from behind and pulled alongside him at around 8.45pm.
The car, believed to be full of young men, kept pace with the cyclist as one of the occupants lent out and slapped him.
The car then sped off towards Tadley.
The cyclist was left with an injury to his buttock but did not require hospital treatment.
The car had a '56 registration plate and black alloy wheels.
Thames Valley Police officers are investigating the crime and are appealing for witnesses to contact PC Gary Hemmings on 101 quoting URN 43170179206.
