SIMON Amstell, Bill Bailey and Katherine Ryan will perform on Reading Festival’s Alternative Stage amidst a catalogue of comedians.

Just before he heads off on his ‘What is this?’ tour, former Popworld host Amstell will bring his worldly and biting wit to Richfield Avenue.

He will be joined on the same stage by fellow Never Mind the Buzzcocks veteran Bill Bailey, who will bring his musical virtuosity to Reading for a second year in a row.

Later in the weekend Canadian comedian Katherine Ryan will lay down her sizzling pop culture critique.

Joining them over the bank holiday weekend are Comedy Central regular Seann Walsh), Tape Face with his unique prop-lead performance, angry political man Jonathan Pie and Iain Stirling, who will perform fresh from his narrating of Love Island.

Josie Long, The Rubberbandits, Joe Lycett, Daniel Sloss, Ivo Graham, Dane Baptiste, Matt Richardson Elliot Steel, Sean Mcloughlin, Lloyd Griffith, Jonny Awsum, Steve Hall, Flo & Joan and Masud Milas will also perform.
