A CYCLIST has been hospitalised with leg injuries after a crash this morning.
Police and paramedics were called to the junction of Redlands Road with Elmhurst Road shortly after 9.30am.
A spokesman for the ambulance service said: "We were called at 9.37 by the crew in one our non-emergency patient transport service ambulances who informed us they passed a cyclist who had been involved in a collision with a vehicle at the junction of Redlands Road and Elmhurst Road.
"They stopped to assist and waited for an emergency ambulance to arrive. The cyclist was an approximately 25-year-old male who had sustained leg injuries and he was taken to the Royal Berkshire Hospital."
