PUPILS were evacuated from a Wokingham school after a chemical spill in the science lab.
Firefighters from two stations, along with specialist teams to tackle the spill.
Watch manager Robin Jordan, of Wokingham Road fire station, said three Berkshire appliances were called to Piggott School in Twyford Road on Thursday morning.
"There was a small spillage of a chemical in their science lab," he said.
"A few of the students were feeling a bit ill so we evacuated the building and ventilated it.
"Luckily it wasn't too serious, it was just paraffin.
"South Central Ambulance Service were called to treat four pupils."
