FAMILY and friends will battle through mud and grime this weekend to support a loved-one's fight against cancer.
Tony Witchalls, better known as 'Big T', was sadly diagnosed with pancreatic cancer last year.
To help him through his journey and support others suffering from the cruel disease, members of his family will take on the Tough Mudda challenge in Henley on Saturday May 6.
They have raised more than £3,000 so far.
Writing on their JustGiving page, Big T's daughter Georgina Boulton said: "Last year our world was turned upside down when we were told that my Dad has Pancreatic Cancer.
"Treatment started straight away and he has already completed chemo and radiotherapy to try and reduce his tumour. before he goes in for his operation on the 13th April.
"Before last year I had not heard of Pancreatic Cancer or the charity that supports the patients going through this terrible time. It made me think I wanted to do something to help raise awareness.
"I decided to go with Tough Mudder as I have heard how hard it is and think it will really, really challenge me."
The group is raising cash for The Pancreatic Cancer Action charity.
