LIAM Gallagher has reignited his long-running feud with former bandmate and brother Noel ahead of his performance at Reading Festival.

Incensed at Noel's collaboration with Damon Albarn in Gorillaz new single We Got The Power the 44-year-old went on the offensive vowing there would be 'war' the next time the brothers met.

He taunted his former Oasis bandmate calling him 'the most creepy soul in the world' and a 'massive girl'. Albarn could not escape his wrath and was labelled a 'gobshite'.

The barrage of tweets, sent around midnight on Thursday, April 27, came after the release of Gorillaz's new album Humanz, compared the new song with David Bowie and Mick Jagger's 1995 hit Dancing in the Street.

Liam will head to Reading Festival's main stage to perform a selection of Oasis hits along with songs from his new solo career on Sunday, August 27.

The tweets read: "Now that d**k out of blur and the creepy 1 out of oasis need to hang there heads in shame as it's no dancing in the streets. [sic.]

"Good night tnight at this feeling wish MJ all the best in the world not to sure bout the presenter LOOKS n SOUNDS like a bit of d***head. [sic.]

"That gobshite out of blur might have turned noel Gallagher into a massive girl but believe you me nxt time i see him there's gonna be war. [sic.]"
