READING FC fans will be given the chance to name the new roads surrounding Madejski Stadium when the Royal Elm Park project gets underway.
The plans for the £500m project were approved by Reading Borough Council at a meeting last (Wednesday) night, subject to conditions.
The development will see a string of new roads built around the stadium's grounds.
Speaking at the planning meeting, Councillor Emmett McKenna asked if a public consultation will be held allowing fans to suggest street names, to which Reading FC chief executive Nigel Howe responded "yes".
