POLICE are warming homeowners in the Oxford Road area to be on the lookout after two houses were burgled recently.

Investigating officers have confirmed two attempted raids occurred between Thursday, April 13 and Easter Monday.

Homes on Sherwood Street and Brunswick Hill were targeted by thieves after they forced and gained entry to the two houses.

An unknown offender entered one of the houses on Sherwood Street on Saturday, April 15 through an unlocked back door, before taking unknown items.

Thieves then hit another house on Brunswick Hill between last Thursday and Monday after forcing entry, although nothing was taken.
