FOLLOWING the success, tickled pallets and satisfied stomachs of last year's Blue Collar Street Food festival in Forbury Gardens, the event is back - bigger and better than before.
Kicking off with two spring festivals on March 30, 31 and April 1, and May 4, 5 and 6, a smörgåsbord of street food will be served from 11am to 11pm each day.
Twenty traders will circle the main lawn of the Gardens with craft beer, cocktails, music, hay bale sofas and a fire pit helping to set the mood.
Glen Dinning, the founder and owner of Blue Collar Street Food, said: "After being inspired by London’s night markets and street food scene, our aim has always been to bring that to our hometown.
"At six events this year, we’ll be transforming Forbury Gardens into the home of street food, booze and entertainment - starting with our spring Feastival on Thursday 30th, Friday 31st March and Saturday 1st April.”
Until then, the adventurously hungry of Reading can visit the Blue Collar Food Market every Wednesday in Market Place Square.
