CONCERN is growing for a man who mysteriously disappeared last week.

James Best, 32, was last spotted at around 6pm last Monday (March 6) in Coronation Square.

Thames Valley Police have launched an urgent appeal to find James, who was wearing a dark purple jacket with an orange stripe down the side, brown chinos and black Adidas trainers.

He was thought to be carrying a rucksack and riding on a purple bike with white speckles on it.

James - who has links to Southampton - is white, 5ft 10ins and of medium build. He has short brown hair, facial hair and green eyes.

He also has a large scar on the underside of his right arm.

Ben Beasley, from Reading Police Station, said: “We are growing concerned for James’ welfare and would urge him or anyone who has seen him to please get in touch, so we can ensure he is safe and well.

“If anyone has seen James or a man matching his description, please call 101.”
