THE Eurovision stage could be rocked by a Reading singer if he can make it through Friday's nation-wide audition.

Danyl Johnson rocketed to fame when he made it to the semi-final in the X Factor in 2009.

Th 34-year-old will take to the stage at the Evintim Apollo in Hammersmith for Eurovision 2017 You Decide, hoping to win the public vote to represent The United Kingdom.

The songster will be amongst five other artists hoping to win the nation's heart and get the chance to perform on stage in the Ukrainian capital Kiev later this year.

During Friday's show he will be reunited with fellow X Factor semifinalist Lucie Jones, who also made the shortlist.
