THE SOCIAL media star of healthy living is due to appear at Waterstones Broad Street on January 25.

Ella Woodward, better known as Deliciously Ella, will be meeting fans and signing copies of her new book, Deliciously Ella with Friends: Healthy Recipes to Love, Share and Enjoy Together at 4pm on Wednesday.

Since 2013 Woodward has been flying the flag for clean and healthy living and eating, racking up nearly 500,000 book sales and hoards of social media followers in the process.

Before her appearance at Waterstones the Chronicle caught up with the author to discuss her new book, food and how to stick to New Year's resolutions.

“Don’t make any huge resolutions that make you feel restricted or that you don’t enjoy,” she said.

“If you want to get healthier then make small changes that feel sustainable, such as adding an extra portion of fruit and veg to every meal really helps and you don’t have to start with green veg either – sweet potato wedges or guacamole are delicious, easy places to start.”

To read the full interview with Deliciously Ella, pick up a free copy of #Reading in February from shops and supermarkets across the town.
