A CAR towing a load along the M4 overturned this morning, closing two lanes on the busy motorway.

The 4x4 was driving between Junctions 10 and 11 when the trailer it was towing flipped.

Thames Valley Police rushed to the scene at around 9am.

Highways England are warning drivers of delays as lanes two and three were closed.

A spokesman said: "Recovery is now on scene for the overturned vehicle on the M4 westbound between Junction 10 and Junctions 11. Delays are now building.

"Please obey overhead signs. Too many drivers cutting in very last minute westbound, putting those on scene at risk."

Traffic is queuing back past Junction 10. No-one was injured in the crash.

Traffic is clearing and the lanes have now reopened.
