TWO men were arrested on New Year's Eve after a young man was attacked in a home in Emmer Green.
The victim, in his twenties was attacked by a group of men in Marshland Square on Tuesday, December 29 last year.
He was taken to hospital with injuries to his face and legs.
Cleon Douglin, 33, of Coley Avenue and Trishtan Douglin, 31 of Prince of Wales Avenue were both arrested on Saturday, December 31.
Each man was charged with one count of wounding with intent and one count of possession of an offensive weapon on New Year's Day.
The duo appeared from the cells in Reading Magistrates' Court earlier today, Monday, January 2.
They were remanded in custody to appear before Reading Crown Court on Monday, January 30.
