RESIDENTS have been warned to be on their guard amid fears a dangerous man could be hiding in Reading.

James White was last seen by a neighbour on Tuesday, November 29 near his home in Burnham.

The 45-year-old is known to have links to Reading, Slough, Marlow, Burnham Beeches, Bath, Bristol, and South Wales.

Investigating Officer, Insp Lee Barnham, said: “We are very concerned for the welfare of James.

“We would advise anyone who may have information about his whereabouts or someone who has spotted a man matching his description to call us on 101.

“We believe James may not have taken his medication and would advise members of the public not to approach him as he could pose a risk to himself and the public.

“We would advise people to instead call Thames Valley Police on 101."

He was last seen with camping equipment in Coulson Way, Burnham and is thought to be camping out.

He is 5ft 7ins tall with brown hair, brown eyes and a medium build.

He was wearing a green and blue barbour style jacet, black jogging bottoms, dark coloured work boots, black bobble hat and was carying a dark green Bergen bag and over-the-shoulder dark green nap-sack.
