POLICE are searching for a man wanted in connection with a burglary at a West Reading house.

At around 2.40pm on Monday, August 29, someone entered a property on Cockey Hill Road.

The home owner disturbed the intruder, who left the house without stealing any items.

Now the police have released an e-fit and hope to track down the pictured man.

Designated Case Investigator Lorna Underwood, of Local CID based at Reading police station, said: “This was an upsetting experience for the occupants of the house and we would like to appeal to the public to help us identify this man.

“I would urge anyone with any information to contact me via the Thames Valley Police non-enquiry centre 101.

“If you don’t want to speak directly to police you can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers (opens new window) anonymously on 0800 555 111. No personal details are taken, information is not traced or recorded and you will not go to court.”
