A 16 YEAR-old motorcycle rider died in Hampshire this morning after a collision with a van driven by two men from Reading.
At 7.23am at the junction of Harroway and Bloswood Lane near Whitchurch a blue motorcycle and white Mercedes van crashed.
The 16 year-old rider was taken to North Hampshire Hospital but died a short while later.
His next of kin have been informed and are being supported by officers at their home close to Whitchurch.
The van driver and his passenger, both 31 year-old men from Reading, were uninjured.
Investigations continue at the scene resulting in road closures at the Harroway/B3048 junction, the Harroway/Newbury Road junction and the Bloswood Lane/Caesar's Way junction.
