THE countdown is on for two days of explosive DJ sets and live electronic acts over the August Bank Holiday weekend for South West Four.

After 12 illustrious years, South West Four has become a pilgrimage for electronic music enthusiasts from all over the UK to Clapham Common in London.

Headlining on Sunday will be The Chemical Brothers, who will be presenting their full live set on the main stage and which will also feature Berlin’s techno ambassador, Paul Kalkbrenner.

The Chemical Brothers will be making their first outdoor performance in their home city in over half a decade. “We’re both delighted to be playing at SW4 in London in the summertime. It has been a long time, too long. See you there,” they said in a statement.

On Saturday, the SW4 Main Stage will feature Rudimental Live, Andy C, A-Trak and Mistajam, among a host of great acts hosted by the mighty Together. And the SW4 Live stage will be headlined by the kings of bass, Knife Party and Nero will showcase their outstanding new sounds. There will also be a rare date from NYC legend Armand Van Helden.

Weekend tickets have already been snapped up, but there is still time to buy single Saturday and Sunday day tickets at www.southwestfour.com.
