ST JOSEPH'S College is toasting in the glory of another 100 per cent pass rate this A Level results day.
As well as all students hitting the A*-E pass mark, 26 per cent of grades were A* to A, 65 per cent were A* to B and 81 per cent were A* to C.
The Upper Redlands Road school was recently named Independent School of the Year and had several students gaining outstanding grade hauls.
Amongst them was Luke Sherriff, whose three A*s earned him a place studying a Maths Masters at Surrey and deputy head boy Nathaniel Fernandes, who will go to Southampton with his A*AA to study Electrical and Electronic Engineering.
Nathaniel said: “I’ve loved holding a leadership role at St Joseph’s, and feel that this has allowed me to develop my confidence and communication skills, as well as learning the importance of teamwork.
“I’ve been on a number of trips during my time in the Sixth Form, including the opportunity to go to CAFOD Headquarters in London to write a newspaper article – even though I don’t study English I really enjoyed the challenge of doing something outside my comfort zone.”
